Here we go again
History is repeating itself.
Last year I came back for four days in November and wrote entries only
on those days, and this year I'm doing the exact same thing. Although
the content of these entries is a bit shorter and probably a lot more well
thought out, it follows the same pattern. I'm not going to bother
and go back to check what I wrote last year, because I can't stand to read
anything I ever wrote in the past. It just makes me shudder.
I'm the kind of person who writes or says something and then tries to move
beyond it as far and as soon as possible. It's a mystery why I even
keep archives of the old entries. Maybe it's because I want to make
it look like I've been doing at least something with the time I spend writing
this site. Anyway, I'll be back in December.

Well, I saw it
I went and saw Harry Potter today.
The first show my family and I tried to see was all sold out, so we got
tickets for an hour later. The movie was showing on 3 or 4 screens
so there were still plenty of tickets left. There were so many previews
before Harry Potter, it seemed like they took up a good fifth of the time.
It was worth it, though, because I got to see the trailer for Star Wars:
Episode 2: Attack of the Clones! Despite what people say, I kind
of like that name, and I thought Episode I was a good movie. Come
on, it was, and it's about time everyone just throw aside their inhibitions
and admit it! Even though you probably can't trust my taste in movies
based on my previous statement and also the startling conclusion to the
Words of Fire series I wrote back in July (which may have caused a certain
Drakanite to abandon the community forever), there are many critics, probably
with better taste than me, who agree with my opinion that Harry Potter
was a good movie. The special effects were spectacular, of course,
but the acting was really good too. I wish I had a cloak of invisibility
and a magic broom to ride around on.

Movie time tomorrow
Although the answer to yesterday's
question of what a Vysage card refines into is a Wizard Stone, it's that
particular stone's cousin, the Sorcerer's Stone, that's on everyone's mind
these days. Along with Harry Potter, some movies I might want to
see include Monsters Inc. or Spy Game, or maybe another movie. I
only have two days of vacation left after this so my time is extremely
limited! Then it's back to college and time to worry about registration,
finals, and other projects.

Home for Thanksgiving
No, you're not imagining things.
Salix is back on the scene and ready for action! I only recently
finished writing the really small Big Huge October Update, but I plan to
keep this site going for the next few days. I don't have another
version of Azenera ready just yet, but I have built up some knowledge about
Final Fantasy VIII and IX, and maybe I could answer some trivia you might
throw at me about those games. Actually, I'd rather not deal with
that because with the trivia some fans know about the FF series, I might
get asked something like "What does a Vysage card refine into" and I really
haven't memorized the card mod list, and I'm not going to! I won't
need it except when I'm playing the game and it's all listed there!
But like I said, sorry there's no new Azenera but I've really been occupied
with my studies at college and the occasional chance to play a game.
