Shirakawa image 5"x7" Linocut. In the summer of 2000, I was part of a landscape architecture trip to Kyoto, Japan. One of the more memorable trips was the one to Shirakawa in the Japanese alps. This image is from one of many photos taken of traditonal minkas there.
