The upper brake line connection on the
back of the reservoir should point down, unlike shown here. The small
gel cell is a back up for the Rocky Mtn Engine MicroMonitor. I had
to move this when I installed the Collins radios.
I wired most of the panel on the bench
and used connectors for installation. DB-9 connectors were used for
the signal and low power circuits and Molex connectors were used for higher
power.
The panel instrument holes were fly cut.
Be careful here. The screw holes were drilled with a template.
The inside under the windscreen must be
painted before the screen is finally installed. I used two-part speckle
paint with a rough finish.
Don't forget to paint the inside bottom
of the windscreen so you don't see the back side of the fairing.
