Responsibilities include: Expedite jobs, ensure Plant runs smoothly, efficiently, safely, and profitably, within the most strict Environmental Compliance guidelines of the United States, utilizing the best available control technology Baghouse, Dry Scrubbers, Thermal Denox, and Instantaneous Controlled Emission Monitoring System. Extensive work with computers, purchaser of safety products. Support safety procedures, Hot Work permit, Lock-out Tag-out, Confined Space entry, and employee training, operated heavy equipment (cranes, loaders, and forklift). Consistently upgrading and implementing procedures for Start up, shut down, Job hazard analysis, more efficient and safe plant operations. Lead Operator: Responsible for overseeing petroleum processes for the largest refinery in Alaska. Included start up experience in Crude Distillation Unit of 80KBPD / Powerformer expansion, and a new ISO Sieve / Hydrocracker / Sulfur Recovery Unit, which included a steam driven turbine recycle compressor. Operation of, Tank Farm and Utilities (including power generation by four Gas fired / Diesel backup combustion turbines, steam boilers, and water treatment). Operated heavy equipment, Cranes, and Loaders.
Wades Oil Field Service - Kenai, Alaska 1978 to 1981
Certified Pipe Welder: Responsible for cutting, welding, fabricating pipes, structures, compartments, vessels from blue prints. Welding with stick, m.i.g., t.i.g. Requiring 100% x-ray. Working on offshore drilling rigs for Amoco Oil, Shell Oil, on-shore for Union Chemical, and Phillips Petroleum.
