Aerial photo of the eastern portion of the Bassett Creek Valley, taken shortly after the construction project of the new +/- $29 million tunnel under downtown Minneapolis. Vegetation has not yet grown very high in the construction area. The Scrap Metal Processors (SMP) property is on the north and the Minneapolis City impound lot is seen on the south side of the creek. The tunnel was completed in 1992.
