The Freeze-Fly is over and although there were fliers at the field New Year's Day, I did not make it.  I'll have to get out to the field later this month to get a start on year 14 of flying each month.  If you qualify for an All Season Flier patch let me know at the January or February meeting.  The club pays for the patch for the first year and the member pays for each additional year.

     This is the last month that you can rejoin for the regular $50.00 dues.  Membership applications were included with the November and December newsletters.  After January 31 a $5.00 late fee will be added to your dues.  This will also be the last newsletter that you will receive because it is part of last year's membership.  If you don't want to miss any of the newsletters, be sure you renew on or before January 31.  If you don't have your AMA by the end of January you can send me your application and dues and I will mail you your membership card when you verify your AMA.

     Anoka County R/C, St. Paul R/C and the other clubs in the area are working on their 2007 calendars.  ACRC will be having a Fly-In in May, a Pattern Contest in June and a Fun Scale Contest in July.  There is also the possibility of having the 2007 Scalemasters qualifier at the ACRC field in late July or in early August.  The Fall Fly-Out will probably be repeated since the first one in 2005 and the one held last year were very successful.  A complete listing of 2007 events and their dates will be published in future newsletters.

     The TCRC auction will be on Saturday, February 10, at St. Peters Catholic Church on 67th and Nicollet.  This is the same place as last year.  Registration starts at 8:00AM and the auction starts at 10:00AM.  Call Jim Cook at 952-445-5257 for information.
