St. Paul Businessman succombed Thursday at Miller Hospital following an extended illness. He was 55 Years old. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 am Monday from the Willwerschied Mortuary St. Paul and at 10 am from St. Augustine's Catholic Church of this city. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Egan was born April 3, 1897, in Eagan Township, Dakota County. A resident of South St. Paul for the past quarter Century, he was associated with general motors as proprietor of the Egan Chevrolet Company of South St. Paul, Mr. Egan operated the agency on Concord Street for 22 years until his retirement in 1949. During his business career, Mr. Egan erected several major buildings in the city's business district. In more recent year she built two of the city's more modern apartment buildings on 6th Avenue north in the hill district. Mr. Egan is a U.S. Navy veteran, World War I. He is survived by his wife Carol; a son Henry G. Jr., Daughters Mrs Carl L Yeager, Joanne, Michelle, and Renee. One Sister Mrs. John (Regina) Becker and two brothers, Maurice F. and George S. Egan of this city also survive.
